Welcome to the website of Merton College Boat Club, Oxford. Keep visiting the site for the Club's latest news and results and information for current and past members. All members of the boat club can create their own profile, add new events, upload photographs and use the forum.

All members and associate members of Merton College are encouraged to join the Boat Club. Levels of commitment range from our 1st VIII's to those just looking for a lot of fun and great team spirit. Every Michaelmas term about 30 new novice rowers and coxes learn to row, with the majority enjoying it so much they go on to compete at higher levels.

Results for Summer Eights 2009 are available in the News & Results Section

On 6th June 2009 (Saturday of 6th week) MCBC held its inaugural dinner for alumni. It was a pleasure to have so many old members back and to enjoy an afternoon's rowing and dinner afterward with them. We intend to make this a tradition of the club and plans are in place to repeat the celebrations next year on Saturday 5th June 2010. Get involved! The new committee has formally taken over running the boat club and are looking forward to building on MCBC's sucesses. (And the huge volumes of email that are involved!) Thanks again to the outgoing commitee for their excellent work over the past year.
